Dinosaurs
Deinos

DinosaursWP (恐竜, Kyōryū?) are diverse group of reptiles that lived on Earth during the Mesozoic Era.

Characteristics[]

Dinosaurs were once believed to be cold-blooded like modern day reptiles, but modern science posits that at least some of them were warm-blooded.[1]

History[]

[2]

There are some people who believe dinosaurs still roam the Earth, citing cryptids such as Scotland's Loch Ness MonsterWP, the Mokele-mbembeWP, or the ChupacabraWP[1], but the modern world cannot support prehistoric life in such a way.[3]

Role[]

Fate/Grand Order[]

Babylonia[]

During the Seventh Singularity, Quetzalcoatl displayed her Quetzalcoatl Noble Phantasm, which summons a Divine Beast resembling a Quetzalcoatlus.[4]

SABER WARS II[]

In SABER WARS II, Ritsuka Fujimaru meets Mysterious Heroine X in Texas Beyond, a planet with Space Dinosaurs.[5]

While not necessarily the strongest, they are believed to have been the wildest, cleverest, and most tenacious. While they aren't very big, they are very intelligent and vicious, possess sharp talons, and travel in packs. Furthermore, there is evidence of them having haunted and eaten dinosaurs much larger than themselves.[2]

MaiasauraFigure
MaiasauraWP (マイアサウラ, Maiasaura?) Cretaceous[2]
ParasaurolophusFigure

Stekun

AmberStegosaurus
StegosaurusWP (ステゴサウルス, Sutegosaurusu?) Unknown The name Stegosaurus means "tiled lizard", referencing the plates sticking out from their backs. Paleontologists believe the plates may have been used for thermoregulation. Their tails were equipped with spikes that they used as weapons. Their postures kept them low to the ground to allow them to eat low-growing foliage. They lived in herds to ward off predators. The dinosaur suborder Stegosauria was named for them.

A Stegosaurus named Ste-kun was raised by Leonardo da Vinci in Fate/Grand Order.

One of her Noble Phantasms summons a Divine Beast resembling a Quetzalcoatlus, however, it is much more powerful than the original creature.[4]
